The Smart Manufacturing Capability Maturity Model (CMMM), initiated by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China, assesses the smart manufacturing level of enterprises based on the national standards “Smart Manufacturing Capability Maturity Model” and “Smart Manufacturing Capability Maturity Assessment Method.” The model evaluates four key elements: personnel, technology, resources, and manufacturing capability.
